Statement of Claim
An electronic service that enables the beneficiary to file a lawsuit before one of the courts (General, Criminal, Civil, Commercial, Personal Status, or Labor).
- Access the link
- Log in to the Najiz portal using the National Single Sign-On account الوطني*
- Select "All Electronic Services"
- Select the "Judiciary" package
- Access the "Statement of Claim" service
- Click the "Submit New Request" icon
- Enter the case classification and review its requirements
- Enter the case data and the details of its parties
- Attach the required documents
- Click the "Submit Request" icon
- Possession of a national ID, valid residence permit, visitor ID, or Umrah-pilgrim ID
- A valid power of attorney including a pleading clause, if the applicant is acting as the beneficiary's authorized agent
- A valid guardianship deed, if the applicant is the beneficiary's guardian
- A National Address
- The IDs of the plaintiff and the defendant
- The service does not require visiting the court unless the beneficiary is asked to attend via a text message —
- The defendant's identity must be known so that the beneficiary can file the lawsuit
- The statutory provisions related to the service are found in the Commercial Courts Law and its Implementing Regulations, the Law of Civil Procedure (Shari'ah) and its Implementing Regulations, the Law of Criminal Procedure and its Implementing Regulations, and the Appeal Regulations
- The service does not require visiting the court unless the beneficiary is asked to attend via a text message
