Under the Patronage of Their Highnesses the Regional Governors — The National Committee's Branch Committees Launch the Second Edition of the Tarahum Endowment (Waqf) Fund

Under the patronage of Their Highnesses the regional governors, the branch committees of the National Committee for the Care of Prisoners, Released Persons and their Families launched the second edition of the Tarahum Endowment (Waqf) Fund in the regions of Riyadh, the Eastern Province, Madinah, Tabuk, Asir, Al-Baha, Al-Jouf, Qassim, Hail, Najran, Jazan and the Northern Borders.

The launch of the Fund comes as an extension of the National Committee's efforts to develop the aftercare system and strengthen community partnerships, as a step embodying its commitment to achieving developmental sustainability.

The Tarahum Endowment (Waqf) Fund aims to build a sustainable developmental endowment model that supports the National Committee's programs in delivering care, rehabilitation and empowerment services to beneficiaries and their families.

In Madinah, the Fund was launched in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, with the events including the signing of agreements with educational, developmental, charitable and health institutions.

The National Committee affirmed that the launch of the second edition of the Tarahum Endowment (Waqf) Fund comes to complement its efforts to broaden the impact of developmental programs and strengthen partnerships with the various sectors of society.
