Cassation Request
An electronic service that enables the beneficiary (the plaintiff, the defendant, or their authorized agents) to submit a cassation request against a judgment issued by the Court of Appeal.

- Log in to the Najiz portal using the National Single Sign-On account الوطني*
- Select "All Electronic Services"
- Select the "Judiciary" package
- Access the "View Hearings Calendar" service
- Click the "Submit New Request" icon
- Select "Browse All Hearings"
- A valid power of attorney includes a pleading clause and submitting a cassation request, if the applicant is an agent for the beneficiary
- A valid guardianship instrument if the applicant is the beneficiary’s guardian
- In commercial cases, the applicant for cassation must be a lawyer with a valid license according to the commercial court system
- A ruling issued by the Court of Appeal that is subject to appeal
- Write the objection list in the space provided and attach the supporting documents
- The cassation request against the judgment must be submitted within the objection period of the judgment
- Objection periods may vary based on the case classification; the period begins from the date the judgment is delivered for a judgment rendered in presence, and from the date of successful notification for a judgment rendered in absentia
- The statutory provisions related to objection requests are found in the Commercial Courts Law and its Implementing Regulations, the Law of Civil Procedure (Shari'ah) and its Implementing Regulations, the Law of Criminal Procedure and its Implementing Regulations, and the Appeal Regulations
- The service does not require visiting the court
